I have an infection that is creeping thru my body AND I have pneumonia. I have been responding well to meds so my doc is going to let me go home and continue treatment with a home nurse. I did have to promise her that the second my stats change that I let her know and we check me out. We did get confirmation that the stuff removed from my lungs is NOT metastasized cancer which is a relief because the lungs are the number one place that ACC spreads.
While in the hospital we have learned that we did shrink the tumor in my head but we did not get it all. My doctors and I will be doing more tests over the next few weeks so that we can get a better view of my head. From there we will make a decision as to whether or not this is not resectable and a craniatomy is in order.
Put your seatbelts on, its gonna be a bumpy road! 
That is great news that you can go home & FANTASTIC that there was not metastasized cancer in your lungs! A good visit indeed!

I'm so happy to hear that the cancer didn't metastisize and it's only pneumonia....glad to hear that the meds are working...what a sigh of relief!! Though it's going to be a bumpy road, you have all of us to help you get through as well as all of the other important people in your life!! Continued thoughts of prayer sent your way

Deb- I cant tell you how happy I am it is pneumonia. I am literally in tears. When you didnt post right away I was really preparing myself for the worst (as I am sure you were) since I remembered you saying the lungs were a "hot spot" so to speak.
I know its gonna be a bumpy road ahead, but the one behind you was pretty bumpy too and you have taken it on like a champ. Keep fighting girl. You have all of us praying for you and cheering you on.

Seriously, I'm glad that's all it is and I hope you feel better soon. In the meantime, at least you're home now, and we're all thinking about you, hoping for you to get well asap!

yay so glad to hear things are getting better. your a fighter and will give the pnemonia a good kick in the tush. can you get a pnemonia shot once it goes away for the future? Hope you are back on your toes soon.
