I have read Kite Runner, Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, Night (when I was MUCH younger). I love James Patterson, John Grisham, Nicholas Sparks, etc. I just can't decide what books to read right now!

Have you read Jeffrey Archer? He's one of my faves along with Patterson, Grisham, etc.

Honor Among Theives is a great suspense book similar to Angels & Deamons.

As the Crow Flys is just a fantastic story. The book is huge but it goes quickly and I was sad to see it end.

I second Jodi Picoult. She is literary without being boring if that makes sense. I just read two Tom Perotta books which were very good. I've also been a fan of Dean Koontz-best book Watchers-an old one

I would have to say anything by Steinbeck. The books are so good and pretty fast reads. The Grapes of Wrath is one of my favorite books of all time. Don't let the size intimidate you, it is well worth it!

That was the most amazing book.

Right now, for me it would be Marley and Me - John Grogan

So many great books you guys have posted. I have read most of them (which makes me feel well read!) so this is helpful that we are all on the same page (pun not intended! Chat Icon )

Re: If you could recommend ONE book to read, what would it be?

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Hands down my favorite book.

I also really loved I Know This Much Is True by Wally Lamb and the Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood.
