In our living room. We have to move our loveseat into the spare bedroom to make room, but it fits perfectly in front of our front window.

I love sitting on the couch and watching the lights twinkle at night. It's such a warm, lovey feeling.

I wrote this song to celebrate: (To the tune of Let it Snow)

Oh the weather outside is frightful,
But the AC is so delightful
The sun makes me feel so fine.
Let it shine! Let it shine! Let it shine!

The heat doesn't show signs of stopping
So I've started Christmas shopping
The sun makes me feel so fine.
Let it shine! Let it shine Let it shine!

I start my shopping in the July,
I really like to get it all done!
So in crowded stores I do not buy,
The Christmas season will be fun.

In the heat we all are melting,
Soon with snowballs, we will be pelting,
Only 158 shopping days to go,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Well, it will be our first Christmas in the new house, so we finally have room for a real, full-sized Christmas tree! It will most likely go in our living room. Last year, we had a 3 foot fake one.

Re: It's a little early for this..

Hmmm a new house this year... a new spot for the tree. We have a LR/DR combo type room so I think on the wall in the middle of those 2 rooms would look good, plus there is an outlet there.
