Spinoff to Diaper bag-anyone have one they reallly like
We registered at BRU and I hate all of the diaper bags I saw there. If I have to carry it all the time I want it to be a nice bag, not totally babyish either. does anyone have one they love and can share a pic? Also where did you find it? Thanks!

I was just going to look for a regular tote. I hate the "babyish" looking diaper bags. It's not like my baby is carrying it...I am!

what does a diaper bag have inside that regular bags don't, just extra compartments?
i'm guessing once a bag is labeled "diaper" the price goes up. i would love to find a non-diaper bag and use it as a diaper one.

this is mine, its not the cutest diaper bag, but it has tons of room and i have two children so i need it. not to mention my husband doesnt feel weird carrying it since it doesnt have little bears or stuff on it. Image Attachment(s):

I find that something labeled diaper bag is lined on the inside. Say if you're carrying formula/milk and it spills, the bag is lined so it doesn't seep through and you can clean up the inside easily.

I have this one in Dark brown. I registered for it at BRU and received it at my shower. I might get a Kate spade one at a later date, but I don't know. I really liked this one and for $25 bucks, you can't beat the price.  I think it is functional and stylish, plus it will get the job done.
I guess if I am going to spend big $$ on a bag, I really have to LOVE it and I am not too fond of diaper bags. They all have to be HUGE to carry all the stuff in. I like the smaller handbags, so I don't think I would like a coach diaper bag anyway because of how big it would be. However, once the baby comes, everyone is telling me I will change my mind. Ladies- just a warning. My sister got a Kate Spade bag- and it was TINY for all teh stuff she needed for the baby. The Coach one- although adorable, also looks pretty small. Keep that in mind...

From my experience the best ones were the Lands End ones. While not the prettiest, functionally they work terrific. I also wanted something that my husband would carry around.

Thanks I love it too... The thing that sold me on this one was that it was SOOO light.
The other ones were heavy and they didn't even have any stuff in them yet! I couldn't imagine carrying around an extra 20lbs just for diaper bag.

Well, I registered for it and someone gave it to me at my shower and stuffed it with a bunch of other gifts. It was $24.99 for the bag and it included a changing mat and a clear case to put stuff in. I guess if I'm going to spend $100 or more on a bag, I don't want it to be a diaper bag that I really don't LOVE and will probably get trashed anyway. That's JMO.

Diaper bags have become my obsession...
I got the ones that match my travel system @ my shower...there great but not stylish enough for me...
I then bought a real cute one from babies rus ( i cant find a pic) its black suedeish material with little gems that say baby on it...
Then the other day I bought myself a kenneth cole reaction tote diaper bag...and so far its my fav!

As posted in another post. I like the cutesy ones, and I personally can't see spending $100+ dollars on a bag for baby stuff.
I'm very happy on the one that matches my travel system and my other gear.

I didn't really like any of the diaper bags from BRU either, but I finally decided on this one, the Colorado Tote:
Both DH and I can use it because of the neutral color, but I also got DH a cool diaper backpack for him to use on his own, then I'm going to buy a nice one for just me. Haven't found one yet though!

I have close to 8 diaper bags, and I have to agree, the two Lands End ones I have are by far the best in terms of quality and functionality, and they come in lots of colors and hold up so well. I have a little one for day outings, and the bigger one for overnights and such. The other ones I have are too small, not layed out well, or are just too big and bulky for everyday travel.
