New pictures and prayer request
Here are just a few pictures of Biruk and Paulos at their very first Yankee game..we had so much fun..at first, they would laugh everytime I would jump up and scream, but soon enough..they were jumping up screaming with me and it was so wonderful to witness Yankee stadium from a child's perpspective!
They have also started soccer and are beyond amazing..parents are asking me where my children learned to play..its funny! Ima proud mom..as if I had something to do with their soccer playing skills! heeheee
But now I need prayers, when Biruk arrived, I learned that he had had open heart surgery and almost died as a baby. So to play it safe, I took him in to a pediatric cardiologist..it turns out, he had ahole in his heart and when he was 2 1/2, they patched it up. well now he has a leak and the doctor was unsure of the severity..he had to wear a monitor for 24 hours, which I will drop off tomorrow and hopefully it is nothing to worry about..worst case scenario, they may have to open him up and repatch his heart. I feel terrible and I am so stressed for him, he has scoliosis, tested postive for TB, has had a TON of shots, had several xrays, and now the possibility of another surgery,. This child has been rthough enough in his short life..I just want him to be a little boy and enjoy life. Its killing me. Again, it may be nothing..Im just asking for prayers because I tend to panic. Sounds like mom and her boys had a blast at the yankee game.
lots of for Biruk.
Biruk will get the best treatment here. He is a strong little boy and the doctors here will give him the the best attention and care. He is in the best place he could ever be.

Oh Alicia, You are doing such a wonderful job with these boys. You have given them the greatest gifts of all, a wonderful life filled with love.
I'm sorry to hear about Biruk. You most certainly have my prayers. I'm sure he will be fine. There is so much the doctors can do for him. I feel bad that such a little person has had so many medical issues, but I have no doubt that he will grow up to be a healthy, strong man.
