How is your sister doing??
I spoke to her for over an hour last night. Her husband is definitely not happy with the latest bit of information. They are having a hard enough time managing with two healthy children. The thought of having to possibly raise a child with special needs is making them consider moving back to NY. Literally they have no family support or emotional outlets there. And while they love the life they have, if you can't pay the bills, you can't pay the bills.
She's very-very tired and very sick. If they put her on bedrest (which might be the case), they will be in serious jeopardy of losing the house. It's just not a good situation all around. I'm very happy about the baby but I worry about my sister's health (and his) and I can't help but look at her situation and be like "What were you thinking??". Sure, I want another baby too, but I'm not going to have one if I can't afford it. Not good planning and I feel so bad that this baby is coming into a world full of adults that are struggling emotionally and financially with his existence I'm angry at my BIL for resenting this poor little guy when I feel he already has enough strikes against him. He didn't ask to be here.
