DH and I clean the house and he takes care of the lawn.
Same here. My husband is more meticulous than any landscaper. We got a landscaper right after we got married. He fired him after a few weeks because he said he could do a better job  . I rather clean. It's my house, I like it a certain way.

I was always against hiring outside help for home maintence. But things have changed now that I have two kids. We now have a two cleaning ladies who come 1x a month and clean my entire house (4br, family room, living room, dinning, 2.5 baths, foyer) from top to bottom. It usually takes them 5 hours to clean. These girls are no joke, they move EVERY piece of furniture and clean in and around! LOVE LOVE LOVE them! My house is sooo clean after they leave it's unreal. Mind you my husband and I are clean freaks but now with the kids I have no time to scrub the floors like before.
I pay $80 and it's the best money I ever spent! If we could afford to have them come biweekly I would but I'm currently a SAHM so we don't have alot of extra money any more.
DH does the lawn 1.25 arce. He actually likes doing and feels a sense of pride while mowing his property. We did buy him a commerical mower, which cut the time down to mow the loan considerably. He gets it done in 2 hrs and thats including weed wacking.

We have both cleaning 2x a month, landscapper 1 a week.
I love it, we both work like lunatics and it helps us out
