i started with over $35,000 and am down to about $15,000.. interest over the years has killed me but it was well worth it!

But I did just consolidate!!!  And rather than do the 20 year payback, I kept my 10 year payback and basically have 9 years to go! But I think I want to do a little extra on my payments so that maybe I can reduce the amount of time.

Zero... I paid most of school as I went along... in loans I only took about $10K and paid it off before the wedding.

From college and grad school, I had $25,250, with interest over 10 years amounted to a payback of over $35K. I am happy to report I have less than $5000 to go, with an interest rate that is less than 2% 
I am in year 10 of payback, but have an extra year of paying because early on I reduced my payments in favor of an added years interest.

i started w/ 8K, im down to around 5K (for my Bachelors), and my job is paying for my RN degree, so luckily i wont have to take out anymore

$18,000. But I haven't started paying it off yet.
Lets just hope that FH will get in-state tuition when we get married (I get to claim him as a dependent - I'm already a VA resident).
If he doesn't get in-state we'll be paying off his grad school loans until the end of time (about $60,000  )

I had about $18,000 from undergrad which is now down to about $6,000.
And none from grad school becasue I paid for that all on my own ( and sacrificed BIG TIME to do so)

none. My parents bribed me to go to state school for undergrad by saying that they would then be able to pay for grad school too. I'm very lucky.

My grandkids will be paying back my student loans.
I kept defering and had a forebearance on them because I was out of work. I consolidated them and refinanced them to get a lower rate.
I have no idea how much they are now but I know I'll probably have my mortgage paid off before my student loans are paid

was 16K, now down to 8500. It's a 10 year loan, so I only have another 5 years to go before it's DONE! I had a lot of financial aid and scholarships during college, so I had a relatively small amount of debt to begin with for my BA degree.
