My friend does every year about 5:30AM, shes already out the door.
Me, on the other hand, treat it as a vacation day to stay home, sleep late and relax and to keep away from people that may piss me off.

I used to, but I think I may not have to this year, my son is getting big now and won't need too many toys.. that was the real purpose of me getting up at the crack of dawn to go shopping.. lol
