Who said anything about wearing the suit in the summer? I think flip flops are appropriate w/a velour suit when you'd first wear the velour suit-like now,during the change of seasons.

sneakers- I prefer like a bowling/puma/ soccer like sneaker ( hard to explain) nothing too chunky.

i think flip flops w/a velour suit during the summer is absurd...and so is a velour suit during the summer....um...if you're THAT hot that you need to wear flip flops...why the velour?  (JMO)
I mean like now. Not summer.
Like it was 80 yesterday but its october so its like freezing in my office...a velour suit with flip flops was the perfect combo IMO.

Sneakers only. But not chunky sneakers. I have a few sweatsuits and I usually wear my Puma's with them.
