What kind of heels to wear this week on a night out
I'm supposed to meet some friends this week at a nice place for drinks. I'm so confused what to wear for shoes as all I have been wearing out is sandals with a heel. I want to wear jeans and a nice top I bought but it seems early to wear boots.

Nice flats or pumps. Both can dress up skinny jeans and a nice top.

Re: What kind of heels to wear this week on a night out
I plan to wear strappy open toed heels this week. (Pretty much a dressy sandal with a heel) I can't do boots yet. The daytime Temps will be in the 70s Even if it gets colder at night you aren't going to freeze because you have a sandal or open toe shoe on. It's not like it's going to be sub zero temps or snowing

First choice would be booties Next riding boots
It's high 60s low 70s in the day but so cold at night. Boots can work If that's what you want to wear. I wouldn't wear ones with fur on them lol. But a simple riding boot ,yea

Re: What kind of heels to wear this week on a night out
So I thought of this thread today. I drove to the train station and I feel like I am the only one without a winter coat on. I am wearing a 3/4 sleeve dress, bare legs and high heeled sandals.
I see people walking in quilted puffer coats, scarves, boots and tights. Bent down against the wind like it's the polar vortex again.
I actually looked at my temp read out in my car thinking- did I rush out of the house so fast this AM that I didn't realize it's in the 40s? It said 62 degrees.
I am normally ALWAYS cold. I run a space heater year round at my desk. And I felt 100% fine with no jacket and bare legs and open toe shoes.
Not sure what planet everyone else was on this morning, but maybe it's just me.
Bottom line, wear whatever you feel comfy in- apparently everything from sandals to winter boots goes!

I'm pretty much wearing the same thing just with pumps. I wore a trench but my legs were fine. I just can't bring myself switch over to tights before October knowing there is no going back until April!

Me too! It's such a LONG LONG season of dreariness and coats and bulk and tights. I can't do it any sooner than absolutely necessary. I hold out bare legged until I absolutely cannot take the cold anymore.
