I had a Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids lunchbox and I still have it. Lost the thermos though
ETA: I took pictures of it. Notice I still have my name on it. This was my second grade lunchbox dating back to 1976-77.

I remember a tin Mickey Mouse Club one and I also remember a hippy trippy one that said Love on it with people and raised letters - it was one of those that you could rub the crayon on paper over it and it would come out on the paper - so i used to give everyone lunchbox love pictures!

I had a metal Holly Hobbie lunch box, both the orange/brown and the blue. I had a strawberry shortcake one year too.
I always remember the RANK smell of old milk and assorted foods it had at the end of the year. And of course... the RUST! LMAO!

Once you said that it came RIGHT back to me!
UUUHHHHH!!!
I would forget to take it out of my back pack on Friday and my mom would find it on sunday night...she would NOT be happy

I still can;t really eat penaut butter and jelly sandwiches to this day unless it's on really fresh bread and i eat it right away. What a disgusting smell. iewwww. I hated my lunch every day. And god forbid you ever put a banana in there!
