What kind of pizza to order?
We are having 25 adults and 10 kids (age 1-14) at DC's birthday party at our house. I am serving pizza and salad, plus a few light appetizers. It starts at 3:30 and I'll be having the pizza come at like 5:30.
Question 1 - is 10 pizzas enough?
Question 2 - what kind of pizzas/toppings would you get? i want to have plenty of plain but also some variety for the adults. I was thinking:
3 plain
1 pepperoni
1 sausage and peppers
1 mushroom
2 grandma
1 plain sicilian
1 sicilian with pepperoni (family favorite)
They also have buffalo and all the fancy pizzas. What other toppings are popular? Is this too much plain? Thanks!

10 pizzas would be more than enough, however, I think you have too much variety. Most kids and adults that I know are picky about their pizza, so to make sure I had enough of the right kinds, I would just stick to plain and pepperoni (whether it is sicilian or not doesn't matter as much). But if you are going to do a larger variety, than your options look good. I do think plain and pepperoni will go first. I see a lot of people at my local pizza place ordering pasta slices (like the baked ziti slice or the chicken and pasta slice) as well as buffalo slices.

I think 10 is definitely enough as well, and I agree about not getting too many different kinds. This would be my breakdown:
3 plain (24 slices)
3 mushroom (24 slices)
2 sicilian w. pepperoni (24 slices)
2 grandma (24 slices)

This is probably what I would order exactly! If you know one of your guests likes buffalo chicken, you can maybe sub it for one of the grandma pies (my family are big fans of this), but its not like its the ONLY pizza people will eat. I've gotten it for gatherings before and people usually go for traditional pizza first...plus its more expensive! Have a great time and happy bday to your DC!

We did something similar for DS's party. I'd stick with:
3 plain
2 pepperoni
2 grandma
2 grandma with pepperoni
1 buffalo or veggie pie
