What kind of prune juice if used to start BM???? UPDATED: WE GOT POOP!!!

For those who use prune juice, what kind do/did you get? Where do you buy it?

Can you give it to a 3.5 months baby?

UPDATE: We had to place a call for his Ped. He called back and told us to do the Thermometer trick otherwise we had to give him a supposary tomorrow. The thermometer trick worked. I am so relieved.

I'd call you ped first.

We used it younger than that, just a tablespoon in a 4 oz. bottle.

As long as it's all natural prune, unsweetned you should be fine.

It should be in with the other juices in the juice aisle of the supermarket.

I have to give it to my 6 month old almost every other day now...she is up to 1 oz to 1 oz of water or bm...I make her rice cereal with it occasionally too, since she seems to like the taste of it...I buy the small individual cans so it doesn't go bad in my refrigerator
