What LIRR stations have decent non resident parking around 6:30am
I have a doctors appointment in new hyde park this week and i'll never make it if I take the train to my regular stop and drive. I'm thinking about driving to another station (in nassau) to be at least a little closer. Does anyone know what stations have decent non resident parking lots with spots around 6:30-7am? TIA!

Thanks! I don't mind paying as long as I'm allowed to park there and there are available spots.

You need a TOH permit for Seaford except for the few spaces right underneath the tracks and they fill up FAST.

Not sure if it helps, but Huntington has $5 parking next to the station house. There are always spots.
Not Nassau, but just over the border on rt 110

Not true. You do not need a permit in the parking lot east of Washington (I park there every day) and you do not need a permit in the most western area of the parking lot next to Seaman Neck Rd (signs are posted for which areas are open to the public). Both have plenty of open spaces at 6:30am.

They'll be plenty of spaces available at Seaford at that time, in the western area by Seaman's Neck Road. And it's really not a far walk either.

Floral Park has plenty of spaces. You can park at the lot right across the street from the police station, which is also right across the street from the train station. It's metered and they also take credit cards and the lot is empty at that time, so you get a pick of spots.
