One of our employees is marrying her high school sweetheart tomorrow. I’m in the bridal party. We have known them since they were teens going to prom. Being there from the beginning of their relationship, through the ups and downs, and now to be there, standing by her side while they marry is heart warming.
So sweet. I love when people find eachother so early in life. Something very special about it.

It was my cat’s 6th birthday. I usually give him a tuna with a candle in it. He almost lit himself on fire last year, so just one candle. He’s very special to me because the last kitten I had to put to sleep because of a rare kitten disease.

What made you happy this week?
I was able to take a vacation day today so 3 day weekend. We took the kids to the beach and then for ice cream. It was a much needed family day since my husband works weekends most of the time...

Thanks! I have to agree that he is very handsome. It’s the breed (British Shorthair, like the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland).

What made you happy this week?
One of my coworkers who now has become one of my BFFs came over with her family. We had amazing food, wine and great convo. Since we are WFH I miss her so much so it was good to see her face to face and have our kids and husbands hang out. It was a great weekend.
Also I bought my MOH dress for my sisters wedding on a sick sale $30 at David's Bridal and it fits like a glove. So happy!

we took out kids out on a charter boat fishing... it was great. I love watching my kids do stuff i grew up doing.
I know long island is crazy expensive but being on the water I realize how blessed we are to live where we live

Congratulations! I love hearing of families that have great-grandparents in them! it's so rare! You should definitely take a photo of the four generations!

I turned 51 this week and I was complaining about looking old, then my 18 year old son told me "I don't present as a 51 year old, more like a 40 year old". Haha

Just spent a week with over a dozen boys, most of them never camped before, and watched them learn how to cook, clean, and work together as a team. Several learned how to become good leaders, and all of them matured and learned to be better versions of themselves. Plus, we all had a lot of fun all week.

My DH had to travel for business this past week so I was really happy when he finally got home Friday night. We had a really nice weekend together with the kids.
I was also happy the humidity and hell hot heat finally broke! LOL

A pina colada and coconut shrimp on the beach, by myself, during beautiful weather.
Seeing my son's batting average continue to rise and his whip (pitching stat) fall to the lowest on the team. He's working hard and having such a great season and I'm proud of him.

Went to North Myrtle Beach with 3 female friends and had a great time! Spent a day on the beach, went in the lazy river multiple times, and ate great food.
