What Movies Affect Your Mood?
I was thinking about this earlier....
are there certain movies that always affect your mood for whatever reason???
For me:
Mamma Mia - just makes me TRULY happy...omg
Beaches - always makes me sad
Clerks 2 - reminds me of my friends....just makes me want to call them all (if you've seen it, the scene at the end in the jail)..

Wizard of Oz is my calming, get me out of a bad mood movie.
Shaun of the Dead ALWAYS makes me laugh.
Notebook when I'm feeling sappy.
And for some reason, whenever I want to just watch something, and don't know what, CLUE is my go to.

City Slickers makes me laugh everytime
Although I've only seen in once, Benjamin Button made me cry and I became very philosophical about aging and the cycle of life
Age of Innocence always makes me cry for lost chances
Private Ryan and Glory both make me feel patriotic and appreciative of Veterans

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind....that one really makes you think about previous relationships and how they make you who you are...and just love overall...
i saw it once in the movies and it affected me for WEEKS....i was openly SOBBING in the theatre...

I just saw this...DH thinks I'm nuts for feeling this way. How many of us would do that? How different would you be, if you had not loved someone in particular? Very powerful.

Okay, total music teacher geekiness here but I LIVE for School of Rock! Freaking cracks me up like nothing else and makes me so happy!
Baseball/Yankee fan dork in me can't get enough of 61* - the HBO movie about Roger Maris & Mickey Mantle. I love how I laugh, cry and cheer in that one!! I feel like I'm reliving a season I never got to enjoy! Each time he hits #61 I just cry!
Shakespeare in Love just melts me. It is the ultimate romance in my eyes.

right - that's what gets to me every time i see that movie is on - i think of the past relationships that i've had that made me the person i am...it's just intense...
Tara - i'd wait until AFTER the pregnancy is finished....as emotional as we are now - FORGET IT...there aren't enough tissues in the WORLD...

When I was younger, Troop Beveryly Hills. I remember watching it after my grandmother dies, and it was the first time I had laughed in days.

I've been meaning to make sense of it for AGES! Really, I did not get ANY of that.
Steel Magnolias - I always sob at the end, it makes me appreciate my relationship with my mother - sometimes difficult but always worthwhile
Bridget Jones - watched it a lot when DH had to move back to London and it reminds me of that time.
Dodgeball - just ALWAYS ALWAYS makes me laugh!
