What order should we do things?
Before moving into our house we have to have the floor finished in the living room and hallway, paint the living room and the kids bedrooms and have the rugs cleaned in the kids rooms, our room and the basement. In which order should things be done?

I have heard people have both opinions, but we painted first, so we didn't have to worry about dripping on the finished floor, but a drop cloth works well too!

We painted before we got our floors refinished and then we went and touched up the molding.

My aunt had told me that if you paint first then after you have the floors done you will have to take a damp cloth to the walls to get off the dust. Anyone do this?

I would definitely do any painting that needs to be done, before the floors - that way you really don't have to worry to much about drop cloths and all
