What paint color for my ugly kitchen?
I am trying to choose a paint color for my outdated kitchen. I painted the cabinets an espresso color. I was going to transform the countertops to be a light tan but I won't have a week to spare to do the project for months... so for now the counter tops are 70's yellow formica. What paint color should I pick for walls? Just stick to a safe off white?
This is not my kitchen but this is an idea of what I am working with.. dark cabinets & yellow countertop.

What paint color for my ugly kitchen?
My brother has a similar floor and dark cabinets, but a white counter top. The walls are a medium blue with a bit of a grey undertone - definitely blue, but just a hint of grey. I like the way it looks

Have you looked into getting new laminate countertops. Super cheap, we've gotten at Lowes and Ikea... Would change whole look

I considered this but dh shut me down quickly.

I used contac paper to cover an ugly laminate bathroom countertop. 5 years in, its still holding up.
