What paint color goes good with red brick?
Besides a neutral can you think of any paint color that would go good with red brick?

I think a cedar green. We just did out siding and did it a dark green and we have red pavers and a red trex deck and I think it looks great

Re: What paint color goes good with red brick?
brown deep blues anything in the tan family even red but it makes it blend stay clear of lighter blues and purples or anything with a purple undertone
I personally don't like greens near red, but thats personal prefrence, its too "christmas" to me
Are you looking for it to stand out or blend in? Also, what color are the bricks? true reds or old rustic bricks with some netural colors?
I just painted my bricks white because I couldn't find a way to love them. Now I do!!

Bricks are a mix of colors, not just BRICK red, kwim? Black, red, brown, a few light ones, etc. It's more brown than red i guess.
I would prefer it to be light since the fireplace is sort of dark and looming IMO, kwim? Yet I dont want to do neutral b/c I plan to do the main living room and hallways neutrals.
I am thinking of a blue or a green... Not many choices to compliment red brick, esp if you want a lighter look, vs dark rustic one. I was playing around with the idea of painting them but afraid I might regret it so they will stay red for a while...
do you have any before and after pics of yours?

Maybe this will help. Find you general brick color and look across for complementary colors

We have a green tea color in the living room with the brick fireplace. I love it.
