What Pampered Chef products are worth the price?
Going to a Pampered Chef party this week. What products are worth the price? I browsed online a bit; I don't mind paying money for things of high quality, as I'm always in the kitchen.
I don't really need bakeware, and anything that has to do with meat/poultry/fish is not something we would need.
TIA!

Re: What Pampered Chef products are worth the price?
I honestly don't think any of them are worth the price. Not that the products are bad... they are middle-of-the-road quality, but they are definitely overpriced. You could go to Bed Bath and Beyond w/ a coupon, or go to the outlets where they have those kitchenware stores, and definitely get the same quality or better for less $$$.
To me Pampered Chef is like those catalog fundraisers for schools for gift wrap and stuff-- you know the prices are inflated, you're just buying out of obligation.

I just got an order in yesterday. I got the adjustable measuring spoons, a collapsible bowl, a stoneware baking sheet, a double boiler, and a wire rack. I spent $100.

The cookie press is a really good quality!
The quickstir pitcher is also worth it. I hear their can opener is great and if I get invited to another party, will be my purchase.

Re: What Pampered Chef products are worth the price?
I literally have just about everything.
Garlic Press - Love Large Bar Pan - I use for everything. Wooden Spoons - I have had them for years and they still look and feel great! Food Chopper - I used this to make my baby food!! Now, I use it to chop multiple garlic cloves or veggies small for soup.

I dread being inviting to these parties I always feel like I have to buy something and the stuff is totally overpriced.

Re: What Pampered Chef products are worth the price?
the ice cream scooper
any of their stoneware
their meat shears - i know you said you won't need meat stuff but these are actually amazing for salads.... they are like big scissors that you can cut up anything with but i use them for cutlets - you can take a cutlet and make little pieces of chicken in two hand squeezes or you can continue cutting and make it like shredded chicken - same can be said with beef or pork! then, for you, use them on lettuce to cut down heads of lettuce for salad. and other veggies as well. they are amazing!!!
ETA: the lemonade pitcher! it has a stirring piece built right in - and you can stir before pouring each glass. used for iced tea as well, of course.

Re: What Pampered Chef products are worth the price?
I have an olive oil spritzer and I use it all the time. I don't know the technical name of it though. I also have a garlic peller thing. Its basically a rubber tube you rub around the garlic to losen the paper. I really like that. My MIL bought me this stuff so i don't know what it cost or if it was worth the money. I also have the garlic slicer and it works well.

Things that I use regularly:
* large & small bar pan * large collapsible bowl (also can double for chips and dip) * batter bowl * BBQ grill basket
If you are looking for small items to get: * citrus peeler * mini spatula * nylon knife

Re: What Pampered Chef products are worth the price?
I have sooo much
the garlic press is #1 the bar pans, I have all sizes honestly any stoneware of theirs is worth it! The garlic slicer is awesome batter bowls I LOVE the spatulas (white)
do not but their cookware like frying pans. I had 2 a small and medium....I never put them in the dishwasher per the instructions and I do not use metal utensils on them and the teflon for the non stick peeled. I tried contacting them via email with no response. but other than the pans I have no problems with ANY other stuff. I really do love the company's stuff
Lets just say I have so much stuff I really should be a sales rep

Love their garlic press, mandolin slicer, and batter bowls.
ETA - If you're into entertaining I also really love their serving pieces. The tiered cake stand in particular is on of my favs. So versatile.
