What places are you going to try for Restaurant Week?

Re: What places are you going to try for Restaurant Week?
We went to EB Elliots last night for dinner with my parents and his parents. The food, everyone thought, was very good!!! My dad left hungry because everything that he ordered was kinda small (he is a big guy to begin with).
I've been to the Mims in Roslyn for dinner and was very happy. They did however serve a strip steak to his grandmother that was so well done it was ridiculous. It should never have left the kitchen.

Re: What places are you going to try for Restaurant Week?
I am so glad I saw this post. Mom voluntereed to babysit so DH can go out for restaurant week tonight and we were going to try City Cellar - now we wont. Now we are trying to decide to go somewhere new or go with old faithful? We love Mims and Legal and are debating if we should try Chi?
ETA: Last year we tried Snaps and another time we tried Thyme and we were not that impressed.

Re: What places are you going to try for Restaurant Week?
I went to FOUR last nite in melville and it was incredible, it was by no means a bargain, as many things i liked were upcharged...but the food was absolutely out of this world and totally worth it. My meal with a drink was $90 but it was soooooo worth it!!!!
I cant wait to go back! And I am taking FH next time!

we were thinking about Legal's also, but their menu for restaurant week looks REALLY limited, imo (and anything that i'd order requires additional $$$). just a heads up....

Uncle Bacala's was good---we went there a few weeks ago. Definitly worth a trip! The Carltun is amazing both for the restaurant and catering!
