DD almost always rolls onto her belly from her back. She'll be 5 months on Friday. Sleeping on her side is fine, how is her neck control?

Re: what position does your dc sleep in

DD either sleeps on her side with her hand underneath her head or on her back like that too. The other hand must be holding something-either her blanket or bumper.

She hates tummy time always has, side sleeping is okay as long as they have good head/neck control on won't get stuck.

If it gives you a piece of mind, maybe switch to breathable bumpers or remove them.

good, if she rolls to her stomach she is able to hold her head straight up.

The hospital I gave birth in actually recommended them sleeping on their sides. I personally didn't like that and would put DS on his back. I think he prefers his back anyway. But I think it's OK. To be sure talk to your child's Pedi.

DD is 10 months and still sleeps on her back. I try to get her to sleep on her belly b/c everyone says they sleep better that way, but she wants no part of it.

Both of my kids have slept on their stomachs since about 1 week old. I'm in the minority though..

DD had reflux so I kept her on her stomach from 2 months on, for fear that she would spit up and choke. She is 6 months now and is doing fineChat Icon

DD has been rolling onto her stomach to sleep since she was 4 months old. Ped said it is fine as long as she got onto her stomach on her own.
