What pre-natal vitamins do you take.....
My doc. said that taking Centrum is enough. Does anyone take these?

Natalle EZ. The extra folic acid is important for women TTC or who are pregnant. When I was TTC, I took an over the counter prenatal- Rainbow Light. You can get them at CVS. They are great too.

I take Prima Care One...I love them.
I took them last pregnancy but they are $50 with my insurance. So I dont want to go down that route again.

My doctor said the same thing that centrium was plenty of what was needed and keeps a lot of the nausa away!!! Then on my my own I began to take Womans 1 a day prenatals and have been...and of course my doctor agrees that they are fine also!!!

you mean regular centrum 
prenatals not only have much more folic acid (to prevent spina bifida) but also have reduced levels of other vits (such as vit A) since too much is not good for a baby... especially if it's in the form of retinal or retinoic acid (also found in animal sources like liver).
My OB has never switched me from OTC prenatals. I take 1 target prenatal and 2 expecta DHA pills every day... These pills never made me feel ill.......

I was taking PrimaCare but I stopped them and I use the store brand CareOne. I talked to the Dr. about using an over the counter one b/c my insurance had an insane payment each month for prescription. He said that all of the nutrients and vitamins are the same in the OTC ones, so I have been taking them. I get them at Stop-N-Shop
