Honestly, I didn't find much. I know keeping my stomach from getting too empty seemed to help--as soon as I got hungry, I got nauseous.

Ginger ale helped sometimes, but not always.

Yeah I'm doing the same just eating when I feel hungry so I don't feel to nausaus. I guess there really isn't anything to help all that much. I remember not being able to eat anything when I was preggo with DD, so this pregnancy is a little bit better!

Thanks girls!Chat Icon

Oh God Melissa! This was the last thing I wanted to hear. I always wondered if it would come back as a repeat performance for the second pregnancy. Everyone says that each pregnancy is different but I was also deathly ill. Honestly, what I did was went on zofran. It didnt cure it but it made it doable. I was reall sick. Some things that I tried..
peppermints
ginger ale
carbs
Hope you feel better!

Nothing made it go away, but ginger ale and crackers helped a little bit. Honestly, sea bands really helped, if I left them on all day and night (except when in the shower).

I was hardly ever nauseous but when I was the few times...

My mom gave me an orange. Said the citrus would help and it did right away.

Pretzels and sprite.

Icies worked really well for me too..Preferably the stick ones.

Hope you feel better!!!!!!!!!!

my ob said anything that is white. like white bread, bagels stuff like that. i find eating small meals during the day helps. if i eat too much i tend to get morning sickness. oatmeal seems to work for me too.

Nothing...I don't want to lie.

I tried everything and only olives worked, but you said that you can't eat much salt.

Re: What really helped you through your MS?

Lemonade, citrus drinks, lemon water , lemon drops
Ginerale , lots of it.

I had severe hyperemisis which is so much worse then typical M/S and sometimes all I could manage was ginger ale.

Avoid Water , it makes M/S worse.

Try even sucking on or sniffing a lemon.

Lemon really works.

Do not use straws, they make it worse.

first pregnancy was pineapple, pasta (carbs), spearment gum.

Second pregnancy=nothing (lost baby after being on extensive medications)

This pregnancy= nothing but ZOFRAN pump.

NOTHING really helped me, the one thing that helped a little were ice pops and Cherry Slurpees from 7-11

Zofran pump was the only thing that helped me. I was diagnosed with hyperemisis.

Have you tried Gatorade?

Hope you feel better
