What rental car company do you find most reasonable?
Going to Orlando in October and will probably need to rent a mini-van...
Also, does anyone use either Costco or BJ's for the discount and if so which one ?
Thanks

I dont have a preferred car rental company but mousesavers has codes to most car rental places in Orlando.
check with AAA and priceline - I reserved cars at great rates through both websites.
And keep checking the rates - you can always cancel without penalty and make a new reservation if you find a better rate.

Re: What rental car company do you find most reasonable?
I booked through BJs last year when we went to Orlando. I also used a coupon that I picked up in BJs. I paid $80 for 7 days. I think we used Budget. I also had one reservation and then cancelled it and rebooked a couple days before because they had a better rate.

I find BJs and Costco to have similar deals (we have memberships to both). Sometimes though - BJs has more coupons on top of the membership discounts.
I find that Alamo tends to be the most reasonable.

Re: What rental car company do you find most reasonable?
Double check Mousesavers.com They will tell you how to mix and match codes. We rented a 7 person mini van from National (emerald reserve) - we got a Toyota Senna - from Sat morning until Sat night - for $150.
Originally we were going with Alamo but National beat their price by A LOT!!!
We have rented 3 times from national - they always have beat out Alamo's price about a month before. We have done Costco's rate with a national coupon, AAA rate with a national coupon and I think entertainment club rate with a national coupon each time we rented. Just make sure if you use a Costco, BJ, AAA rate etc that you are a member and have your card as we have been asked for it when we pull out of the garage (if you are a national emerald club member - free with link from mousesavers.com) you just walk up to the aisle of car you reserve and pick any car on that aisle and drive out of the lot - you check out at the gate - no lines and VERY fast service.
I would pick either Alamo or National - both are VERY convenient to the terminal - they are located in both A and B sides and you just get your bags and walk directly across the street to the parking structure and you are right at both Alamo and national.
Just a warning the rates are usually high until about a month before - but you should book something and then regularly check for better rates and keep checking back - don't modify your reservation but make a new one each time and then cancel the old one - that will get you the best rates which can fluctuate during the course of the day and it can change by day of the week too. But if you play around enough you will be rewarded. Also check out the transportation board on disboards.com for some additional hints and comments on various codes - also people will mention what rates they are paying and for what level of car and length of rental so you can see how your rate compares to others.
