our cat's name is Phoebe. we are adopting a kitten soon, just waiting for his second set of shots before we bring him home. his name will be holden.
we have no nicknames for Holden (yet), but Phoebe has a few...

Over the years, we have had quite a few dogs. These are the names that my daughter gave them:
Riskie became Stone-o
Lady became Stook and Sheik
Reba became Bub, Bubette and Re-Tut
Lucy became Pooch-link, Linnerdog, Lin, Linkie, Luke and Linsey
Sadie became Harr-dog
Chelsea became Stinky Sullivan, Sully, Sulsy and Chow-dog
I don't know how or why she came up with these names, but, all of them stuck. By the way, she posts on these boards as "dottiemchugh". If you see her post, you should ask her.
