What Service/Software Do You Use for Baby Photos?
We set up a Picasa page for DS so my parents and other relatives could print out photos of him for free if they like, but DH and I are not having the best time using Picasa. The most basic things we want to do (add a few photos from our hard drive when we take new photos) seems to be incredibly complicated and isn't addressed in their help pages really. If anyone has tips on this, I'd love to hear them. Maybe we are both technilogically backward, but this is one of the few google offerings I am not happy with so far.
Anyway, where do you place photos and can family members print them for free? If there is nothing else like this, we may just have to opt for Shutterfly or Snapfish, which we've used before.
Thanks!
Cheryl

We use Picasa to store them, and I also use photoshop as well to fix them.
We have our pics in one huge folder on our computer, and they are all uploaded to shutterfly. I either share pics with family through shutterfly that they print out on their own or they tell me which ones they like and i email them the images so they can upload them or print them out themselves. We also burn CD's for family members every couple months.

Maybe we'll do something like this. I'm just finding it very clunky to transfer files from our hard drive to Picasa.

There's a setting in Picasa that you point it to the folder you have your pictures stored in and everytime you open Picasa, it automatically checks for new pictures/folders and uploads them into picasa. So you don't have to do it yourself. Maybe that would make it easier?
Honestly, i only use picasa now when i need to do quick touchups on pics, i always go to the folder when i need pics.
We have a folder named for the girls, then inside that folder i have folders with dates on them.
