Re: what should i do with my white skirt
I find Zout stain removor ( I got it in Target), followed by washing works well, on old stains. Did you try putting bleach in the wash (not just putting the skirt in a bucket of bleach)
At my bachelorette party, my friend spilled red wine all over her white skirt! She said Zout & washign with bleach worked. She did have to wash it a few times though.

I would suggest OXY Clean too! It's done a great job on all of my whites.

Re: what should i do with my white skirt
try the clorox pen - put a bunch of paper towel under the stain then run the pen over it - the stain can be absorbed by the papertowel - usually works for most white clothes - another idea is to use the shout wipes - they are pretty good - same idea with the paper towels so the stain can wick away

I definately would not soak it in straight bleach. That will probably cause the fabric to desintigrate or to turn it yellow.
If none of the other suggestions on here work, you can try a product called Rit Color Remover. I've used it on white garments in the past with some luck.

Did you try Shout. I love that stuff, it takes 95% of the stains off of Alex's bibs.

There is a great product called " Oxyclean". You can find it in any grocery store, or drug store. Pathmark and Waldbaums even make their version of it. It's fantastic. I am so sure it will work.

Re: what should i do with my white skirt
Mich, If you're looking to keep the skirt, don't soak it in pure bleach. It would probably ruin the skirt. I would suggest a good stain remover, but if you love the skirt that much - maybe bringing it to a professional would be the best.

I just don't have the patience for this stuff so I would go out and get a new white skirt lol
lol but its sooooo absolutly adorable, and fits perfectly..i cant bare to replace it, especially when im sooooo picky and nothing fits the way i love it but this does..so im going to great lenghts to preserve it lol
can you try and see if you can find it online? or was it one of those buys at some random store?
i got it on clearance at ann taylor last yr, randomly when i went in for something else and i ended up buying this skirt instead lol.. hmm..i can check the store but i doubt they would haveit cause i assume its last yrs collection
If the dry cleaners can't get the stain out, try the Ann Taylor Factory Outlet for last season's merchandise. You might get lucky.
thats what i was going to say....the outlet might be the lifesaver here......

Bring it to a dry cleaners. I wouldn't soak it in bleach - it may ruin the "color" of the skirt (there are different shades of white depending on the fabric/manufacturer)
VERY TRUE
did you put it in the dryer yet? If so then IMO it is a goner But if not there is this stuff called ZOUT. IT IS A MIRACLE WORKER!
