For walking...

17 months, they started walking 16 months, 3 days.

Size 4.5 wide.

They have small feet for their age. At 21 months they still fit them.

We just bought her first pair of walking shoes a week ago. She is now 15 months and wearing a size 5 in Stride Rite shoes. IMO, they are big, but she walks fine in them.

He started walking at 11 months, and we bought walking shoes not long after. One is a pair of walking shoes from Stride Rite, size 5, the other shoes he has are sneakers, size 4. Both seem slightly big on him.

We bought her shoes at 11 months when she started walking. She has just about worn them out and is ready for a new pair!

ETA..she was a size 3.5

DS got his first shoes when he was 11 months and started walking. He was a size 5 1/2 extra wide according to Stride Rite.

When she was 13 months, she started walking, so we bought her some size 5 shoes. We got her measured at Stride Rite and then bought shoes at Target.

Walkers at 14 months.....It was still warm outside so we wore fake robeez!

I got a pair early b/c he started crawling on his hands and feet more often than on his hands and knees. Maybe he was 10 or 11 mos old at that time and I got him a pair from striderite, size 3.5...I forget what kind they were..but they were flexible yet had rubber on the bottom.

He started walking at 13mos and I got him a 2nd pair from striderite size 4.5...I guess those were walkers

not until she started walking on her own - 13 mths. her first sride rite sneakers were a size 5

first real pair was her walking shoes from stride rite around her 1st birthday. size 4.5.
