what size follicle???
I'm going for my first IUI over the weekend if I ovulate as scheduled and I was just wondering...what size is considered a good size follie and what size do they inseminate at?

Well, at my doctor they trigger at 18mm. Are you getting a trigger?

18 to 20 mm. is considered a mature follicle.

Well, at my doctor they trigger at 18mm. Are you getting a trigger?
I'm sorry I'm still learning all of these IF terms...is trigger a shot to help you ovulate? If thats what it is - then no we're not doing that. We're dealing with male factor IF...my blood tests etc came back good so far. So the doctor said that he doesnt think i will need meds...yet

A trigger (lovidrel and others) is what triggers ovulation. It's around 24-36 hours after the shot that ovulation takes place... HTH!
