What size shoe does your 2 1/2 year old wear?
I have a bunch of summer shoes in a size 5 from Rylan that are HUGE on Xavier. I can't decide what to do with them. I'm wondering if it's possible that he might fit into them next summer when he'll be 2 1/2. If so i'll save them...if not I need to get rid of them. I feel like i'm hoarding their shoes and clothes...lol.

3 or 4 T tops depending on where they are from. 2-3t bottoms again, depending on where they are from.

I was wondering about shoes. Although i'm having the same issue with clothes. When Rylan was Xaviers age he was wearing 18-24 months and Xavier is still in 6-9...lol. I figuring the clothes will fit next year...at least I hope so!!

my older DS was a 5-6 at 1.5, 8 at 2.5
my younger DS isn't even 1.5 yet and is a 7
ETA what size is he now?

ETA what size is he now?
He's a 4 now...it would seem like he wold be ok with the 5's as the summer goes on but they are so big...like falling off big!!

Really depends on the child - it is so hard to predict.
DD#1 at 2 was in 5.5W going into 6W. At almost 4 (she will be 4 a week from today) she is only wearing an 8W.
DD#2 turned 2 last month and she is wearing a 6W now. I am always told when they measure that my girls (esp DD#1 moreso than DD#2) has tiny feet. I would say he will probably not be in a 5 at 2.5 - but it really depends.

If it were me, I would wait to decide until the end of the summer. He may have a growth spurt or something and fit them. Or if they are still gigantic you could save them on the off chance they could fit next year, but my guess is his feet will be too big next year.

I'm thinking they'll be to small next year too. It stinks because 3 of them were $40 each...I would hate for them to go to waste

Aidan is a 6 1/2 to a 7 depending on the way the shoe is cut.

Last summer my DS was 1.5 and when we bought him his first pair of sandals he was a size 4.5. I just bought him a new pair last week for this summer (he turned 2 in March) and they are 5.5. Hes a slow grower. Even his clothes are small for his age. I bought him some size 24 months shorts for this summer thinking he was gonna grow and they literally fall off him. He still wears 12-18 month clothes. If your DS is anything like mine it is definitely possible they'll fit next year

Landon was a size 7.5 last summer at 2. Size 9 over the winter at 2.5. Now a size 10/10.5 at 3. His first pair of shoes was a 4.5w at 9 months though. He's always had big feet.

Kaydyn was in a 5.5/6 last summer at 2.5. But her feet grow really slow...she is only in a 7 now.
