What stores sell Christening outfits? & How much was your DC's christening outfit?
I've just been to a few malls, so I only checked Macys, JCPenney, Sears, Lobels, Strasburg outlet, Burlington Coat Factory.
Is there like a nice actual christening store that I'm missing? All those stores, especially the department ones are kind of plain. I'll go anywhere on LI just to see some in person.
Theres a few online I like but I just wanted to see some in person, online is my last resort.
And I figured I'd add a poll if you want to answer.

We bought DS at Little Dickens in Centereach, its all they really sell.....just tons and tons of christening outfits.

mine was a family heirloom, so i did not buy one, but i really think you hit most of the stores where you are going to find nice ones. Kathleen's of Donegal (an Irish import store in Rockville Centre) carries beautiful baptismal gowns. I also saw some at Advent (a Catholic goods store, also in RVC).

I will be getting DS' at Little Dickens in centereach. they start at 59.99 and go up from there...of course the first one i picked was $250

We got ours from here. They are pricey but they are beautiful outfits. I'm Greek Orthodox and tradition is that the Godparent purchases the child's outfit. It's crazy ours was a bit over $300

We went to Little Dickens in Centereach. They have amazing, amazing christening gowns and accessories bu pricey. My DD's gown was about $150-160 and that didn't include any of the other stuff like shoes, bib, onesie, etc. etc. Beautiful things though, so much nicer than anywhere else I looked.

Ours was a Piccolo Bacio...a line sold in fancier children stores ...i bought it at a kiosk in the Staten Island Mall

 we got dd's at that flea market place on hempstead turnpike in levittown...they had some gaudy ones there but we found one that was simple, yet in our opinion also elegant!

We bought DS outfit from a store in Ridgewood, Queens. They have a great selection and are reasonably priced for what you are getting.
