Can't find the pic right now but there is a double/triple Sit n' Stand for 3 kids. Younger 2 are in th stroller part and older one stands or sits in the back. I'll see if I can find it. I almost bought it hen I had #3 bt my middle one refused to get in a stroller anymore at that point. I looke dinto it because I LOVED my original Sit N' Stand

The 3 year old walking I think. Is he closer to 3 or 4? My DD stopped using a stroller at 3 1/2 and my DS was even younger. Not that I'm against a child whose a bit older using one but that's a lot of weight to push around with 3 on board. I know there are triples out there but I can't imagine that being easy with children of various sizes.

I thought, will my FSIL just have to learn to walk next to the stroller asap?

I was going to suggest this one also - instead of the toddler seat, there's also a toddler riding board option, so the 3 yr old can stand & stroll when necessary.

I think we'll stick with our side by side double and an umbrella/oldest will walk.

I thought of that but most of the time it's just me taking the kids out. I like the option of strapping Roman in if he is getting too wild and I wouldn't be able to push two strollers. I'm good but not that good.

I like the standing board option on a double stroller but what if he want to sit or lay down. He will be only 3 so he could still be tired during errands, etc. He won't have the option for him to sit. Now, how long will you need him in the stroller. I am thinking 6 months. By then he will be 3.5 years old and may not need the stroller so you will be stuck with a triple stroller. But you could try to sell it on craigslist and get a double stroller.
I am not sure about the toddler seat option. That could work. What is the weight limit though. I remember the bumbleride Queen B with the toddler attachement being limited to 35 Lbs. So that won't go too far.
