What stroller for vacation?
We were thinking the MacClaren Quest for our 8 month old. We have a jogging stroller, the snap and go and the regular Chico stroller... WE also have friends who offered their cheap umbrella stroller, but I thought the MacClaren would be the best bet.

I would agree with you that the Maclaren Quest would be best unless you want to invest in the Techno which has a full recline. For me the Ques' recline was and is sufficient for DD.

I would do the Mac
I wouldn't use a cheapie stroller b/c if DS wants to nap or whatnot
The ONLY nice thing about a travel system stroller (which I am guessing your Chicco is) is that they usually have bigger baskets and trays, which are both nice when traveling

I have yet to use my Maclaren Quest Sport, but I plan on taking it when we go to CA. When DS was 7.5 months old, we went on vacation a few hours away by car. The jogging stroller was good for that one.

wht type of vacation?
If it is a beach vacation I DEF recommend the jogging stroller...it goes easily on the sand and the cover is big for extra shade under the sun...and it lays all the way down for naps on the beach! We brought the umbrella stoller the 1st time and hated it..bec it didnt recline!

Going to Aruba. We have a timeshare and the beach is right there so I'm not too concerned with it going on the sand. Plus, my in-laws and other family friends will be there to help.
Only walking we'll do is around the town. Not doing any tours or anything... just beach, pool, shopping, playing, etc
I think the MacClaren is the best bet.
