What time is your BBQ bday party starting???
My family are super early peoPle who would want a BBQ to start at 12:30 or 1:00. I am planning a BBQ for my ds's first birthday. My ds wakes up between 7 and 9 and doesn't go down for a nap until anywhere from noon to 1:30. After his nap would be nice so he wouldn't miss the party!
What time is your summer bday bbq starting? Is the start time in accordance with you lo's schedule?
Thanks!

Re: What time is your BBQ bday party starting???
We usually start between 3 and 4. There have been times when People arrive, and DS is sleeping. I don't treally plan around their schedules. 12:30 would be really early for us, as it, people stay late at our house, so if you have it at 12:30..what time do they leave?

Ours is starting at 1pm. I think you should set the time according to your DCs nap schedule. I'd rather start a little earlier or a little later so that DC can get their nap in and be a happy baby for the party.

Thanks. If m family came at 12:30 they would probably stay until 4:30 or 5. They don't linger at all!

Re: What time is your BBQ bday party starting???
We started ours at 2. I wanted to make sure DS got his morning nap in and had lunch before people came over. I would do what's convenient for your DC's schedule and everyone else can work around it!

Ours starts at 3pm because we wanted time to get everything ready and our yard is almost all shade by 4pm so it would be cooler back there.
We didn't take into account DD's sched, if people are here she will not nap anyway she gets too excited

Re: What time is your BBQ bday party starting???
It's not a bday but we are hosting a class party bbq this weekend. We have start time at 11. The kids usually eat lunch at 12 so I figure they can play for an hour, eat, then play for another hour or so.

Ours will be at 2, we'll see how it works out. Her nap schedule has gone out the window lately. So I didn't plan it around her.
