What to do with old stove/oven?
We are thinking of getting new stainless steel appliances... but our current stove/oven is still perfectly good and in excellent shape- i hate just throwing it out... has anyone else ever encountered this? Anyone have any ideas of what to do with the stove?

Or you could call Salvation Army, St. Vincent de Paul, Big Brothers Big Sisters, they all take old appliances.

i would definitely try craigs list- because on there i think you can do local pick up only, so that you dont have to deal with shipping it to somebody.... also, newspaper classifieds, or like somebody else said- consider donating it. many donations like that are tax deductible
