What to eat with an upset stomach
I've been nauseous all day and home sick from work. I haven't eaten anything all day, and know I have to eat something. Any suggestions on what I should eat that won't make me throw up????

Maybe some saltines & ginger ale? Or toast or an english muffin if you want something more substantial.

I also suggest crackers and ginger ale.
DRY toast might also help.

saltines, gingerale, peanut butter sometimes helps, and frozen grapes can be really refreshing

I agree with the flat part fot the ginger ale. Stir it a bit to get the bubbles out. Leave an open can or glass out for a while for your next one, too.

I have a slightly different suggestion....
if you have an upset stomach, virtually nothing seems palatable.... becuase it will get you sick. How about eating what you are in the mood to eat?
I had a viscious flu several years ago.... bread actually irritated my stomach. I craved cottage cheese, cantelope, and watermelon. This turned out to be the only foods (along with pedialyte) I could eat without getting sick for over a week!
defies logic, I know, but that's what happened. Moral of the story? listen to your stomach

I think as long as you are getting plenty of fluids you can probably eat whatever you can tolerate like the other poster said above. Some people do better with bland food, some feel better with some protien, it depends on what makes YOU feel better. I would avoid greasy or spicy foods though.

I too have been suffering with tummy issues....its been all crackers, plain pasta, and lots of tea.
