What type of birth control are you taking now?
The dr. put me back on the pill and I've been taking it for 2 months. I've been pretty good with remembering to take it but I was wondering what your experiences are with other birth control methods.

I was on the pill again after DS, but my blood pressure was kinda high, so they took me off. SO now it is pull and pray

I used to do the patch,but since they don't prescribe it anymore, I am now on Yaz.

I had to get off the pill too because of high blood pressure. My dh got a snip snip as we don't plan to have any more kids :)

Robbie was conceived while I was on BCP.
Noah was a classic case of a failed condom.
I was pregnant and M/C after a dalliance with the patch.
For the last several years we've been doing PNP/Natural and haven't had a single incident.
I'll admit that my impending menopause has made us a little less cautious these days - but for some reason a stable relationship, a house and marriage seems to have been the best BC for me

pill--FemCon Fe. I need it to control my periods, too, because I am anemic and have a long history with fibroids. I am considering Nuvaring and when I know our plans for sure I will consider Mirena.

but when we're not, since I cannot have any type of hormonal BC, we do PNP

I had the Mirena IUD put in 8 weeks after I had DD. So far I love it....never have to remember to take a pill

after DD I tried the pill but it made me very moody (and believe me I don't need anything to make me more moody!!) so I stopped and went with pull and pray...well I must have said the wrong prayer one night, because I was blessed with DS
now because of some complications I had after DS I was strongly advised to not get pregnant again - DH got sniped last week.

Now that I have a kid, (and see all the work she is) and don't plan on another for a while.....we have never been so faithful to using condoms!!!!
There are many teenagers that really should spend a week with a baby..... 24-7.... and then decide to just pull & pray!

Mirena since June 2007. I absolutely love not having to remember to take a pill everyday and I also have very very light or no periods which is a bonus.

I have the Paragaurd IUD and love it. I love that I don't have to think about taking anything and that it is hormone free. I also like that I can take it out at any time and TTC right away if I wanted.

Zip. Odds are we will probably start TTC around the time when Abby turns 1. thats only in 8 months. I am not going on the pill for 8 months. Shoot I havent even gotten AF yet after having Abby.

tubal ligation during my second c-section. i was never so happy to have a procedure done. LOL
