What type of pain reliever can you take?
I have a really bad headache and I was hoping it would go away on its own and it hasn't.
What type of headache meds can you take in the 1st trimester?

Just tylenol. Follow the recommended dosage. (I usually take one extra strength tylenol.)
You can have a small bit of caffeine if you don't otherwise which could also help. One can of soda / cup of coffee a day.

I found that taking tylenol AND drinking a glass of soda helped alot. The caffiene in the soda helped alot more than the tylenol alone. When I told my doctor this is all that helped she said "then keep on doing it!"

I was going to say the same exact thing! A little bit of caffeine might really help. Feel better!

You all responded so fast too!!
I just took two tylenol and if that doesn't work then I am going to have a cup of coffee (which I haven't had in days!)
ETA: I usually have to take 4 Motrin's for a headache to go away so I am praying the tylenol and coffee do the trick.
