What vaccum is the best for hardwood floors and tiles??

I bought a new vaccum a few months ago and it's just not cutting it anymore. It has lost suction and it's practically new. But I didn't really love it anyway.

I'd like a canister vaccum instead of an upright. Any suggestions?

I love my Dyson canister! I know some people don't really care for Dyson or it's too expensive, but I had a Kenmore for 3 years and it did a good job.

I just bought the Hoover Linx Cordless stick vacuum and it is amazing on my tile and hardwood. I couldn't believe how well it cleaned. I am very happy with it.

I finally found the BEST vacuum for floors. Its the eureka mighty mite. This vacuum has been around for years. It picks everything up. Its a canister and made specifically for hard floors. Has unbelievable suction and its $60!
Its not good at all on carpet or rugs so you would need to have another vac for that.

That vacuum should still be under warranty, I would think.


If you want a canister, My kenmore canister was great.
