What was/is your criteria for coming home outfit for baby?
Can anyone tell me what they are looking for, or will use and why?

Thanks for sharing!!!!
I bought two one peice outfits today....I really thought that one peice would be better, not hit the belly button. Am I wrong about this? How important is a two peice?

I don't think a two piece is that important - I would get a one piece if he was born in the colder months.

Re: What was/is your criteria for coming home outfit for baby?
i think either one is ok as long as youre caerful...i just remembered putting my DS in a 2 piece and automatically looked for another one..she'll probably be wearing a onesie under it anyway to cover up the umbilicle site..and to keep her warm..i just like two piece cause i feel like its easier to just pull off pants to change instead of worrying about buttons..(and i dont buy anything with zippers this young cause im scared to zip their lil chubby chin or belly lol)

Should we be getting newborn size or 0-3 months?

I am not getting too crazy with this-- just want something practical. So, weather appropriate and comfortable for the baby.
