What was the first table food/finger food you offered DC? At what age?

8m old DS is rejecting baby food. We are going to attempt to feed him table food. Hopefully he will like it better.

that is what my DS did! Loved table food...so we offered that instead at about 6.5 mo

--Cheerios (broken up into 3 or 4 pieces)
--Gerber Puffs
--Peas (I would "pop them -so they would be easier for him to handle!)
--watermelon
--Grapes (I would take off the skin and cut them into "pea-size" )
--banana (also broken up into "pea-size")

My DS refuses baby food! At his 9 month appt, his ped gave the ok 4 finger foods! Small pieces, no bigger than his pinky nail. That night he had chicken soup made w/ pastina. Since then he's eaten grilled chicken, pizza, quesedillas, scrambled eggs, london broil.
