what was your baby's weight at 34 weeks?
My baby  is measuring 5lbs10oz. I feel like this is big. What was your baby;s weight around this time (34 weeks)?

at 35 weeks my baby is measuring 4 lbs 5 oz and is only at the 16th percentile.
I always ask my doctor for percentile rankings in order to put things in the correct perspective

at 34 weeks, was measuring just under 5 lbs, which was in the 25th percentile.

At 32 weeks they estimated my  to be 4.5 lbs... 60th percentile. I felt this was on the big side, esp because everyone tells me I'm carrying small, but then again it's just an estimate!

I can't remember, but my 1st son at 32 weeks was 5lb 12oz, my 2nd son was a little bit heavier. They were both over 10lbs at birth.

34 weeks last week...
Baby was measuring 5lbs 11oz...IMO, BIG!!!
Just as a reference, I had GD with my DD (not this pregnancy though). She was born at 39 weeks and was 6lbs 11oz. Only 1lb more than her soon to be brother!

Baby A - 5lbs 3oz
Baby B - 4lbs 14oz

at 34 weeks drs estimated my dd to be 5.5-6 pounds. shes in the 69th percentile. so its definitely on the bigger side, but not too huge.

Sorry to hijack...how do they estimate the measurement? Is it based on the doctor measuring your belly, or based on a sono? I have my 32 week apptmt next week, and I have never been given a size yet, but I also haven't asked.

based on sono. they measure the head, abdomen, and thigh bone and use a calculation to come up with the weight.
It can be way off.
DC#1 was estimated to be 7 1/2 lbs about 3 days before I gave birth. he was born at 9 lbs. But the explanation makes sense, his head was measuring in a lower percentile and I think the head counts for 2 of the measurements in the calculation.

at my 33 week sono was measuring 4 pounds 7 ounces (39th percentile)
at my appointment today though my Dr. measured my belly and was kinda shocked he was only in the 39th percentile, so I think he's bigger

My was measuring 5lbs 11ozs at 34 weeks. I was induced 6 days past my due date and he was 8lbs 8ozs.
