My company lets us go out 4 weeks before our due date. So 36 weeks, and the countdown has begun already

well im debating on the actual date but i will be 40 weeks if all goes according to plan. Due 12/24 school ends 12/23 but i may just make 12/18 my last day, depending on how i am feeling

I plan on working until the end, I want to save all my days for being home with the baby. Its getting really hard lately especially the commute and I am only 34 weeks so I hope I make it till the end!!

I'm working up until I'm 39 weeks...I'm a teacher and on my feet constantly-- it's just getting to be really hard!

My job puts me on maternity leave one month prior to my due date. My last day will be Nov. 25th unless I get put on modified bed rest by my doctor like I was last year with DD#1. 10 more weeks!! I cannot wait!

37 weeks now and im going to be working until i go into labor. i only get 8 weeks and i want to spend all of that time with the baby.

I am being induced @ 39 weeks 4 days b/c of GD....Friday is my last day, 9/18 ..using vacation time/pay to stop sooner....I will be 38 weeks Friday...I just feel that I need 1 week inbetween to rest...so tired, have GD...lots of pressure, and the baby can come earlier than my induction too so you never know.

That's a good question and one I have been asked A LOT this week! I'm a Paramedic and my shifts are either 12hrs(in the city at night) or 24hrs(in a more outlying rural area). I'm part time so I work as much or as little as I want/need, but our sched are posted 2 months in advance. As of now I am sched until the end of Oct, in both areas, so that will make me 28wks. After, when Nov and Dec are posted, i'll pick up what I can when I can, but more then likely in Nov. I will leave the busy city and head to a more outlying area that is not so fast paced so I can last as long as possible. I'm hoping that working out of the city will let me go until Dec or the begginings of Jan...I'm due 01/20/10.

Since i am only a perdiem prob not much longer even though i am at 22 weeks... working a random midnight here and there and then taking care of my ds is just absolutely exhausting...

with my ds i went out at 34 weeks due to cramping and ds was born at 36 1/2 weeks.... i was actually very happy to have the time off before because i had been working ft nights at the time and needed the sleep... that and i couldnt reach anything anymore

mid to end of my 39th week...I did it with DS and hoping I can do it again.

I'll be 39 wks tomorrow, and I'm still working, hopefully next week will be my last, I can do work from home. So will probably only come in 2 days next week.

I'm hoping to make it to week 40.

With DS last year, my midwife stopped me at week 38, but DS arrived at 41w3d so I 'wasted' three weeks of FMLA.

I have the flexibility to work from home past week 40, and my company has an extended parental leave of 8 weeks after FMLA so I'll hopefully be able to take off a total of 20 weeks AFTER this DS arrives.

As much as I would love to go out early, I am going to work to the end, because I don't get paid for maternity leave

We shall see if my back has other plans for me. If I wind up on any sort of bedrest where I cannot work, I want to work from home on my laptop.

Most likely 39 weeks. I commute over an hour to the city and I really don't want my water to break on the train or at work. I will double check with my Dr. before I make it official.
