What will people say when you tell them you are preggo?

Do you wonder what people will say when you finally tell them you are pregnant?

I have a strong feeling that when the time DOES come, my MIL will say things like, "do you think you are financially ready? Was this planned? or...I hope they can manage, etc, etc... (meanwhile, IMO we are well off financially although we dont own a home we have a lot of savings....we will be just fine)

i feel like they wont be totally that happy for us b/c they have no idea we are trying, is it wrong for me to think that? I hope i am wrong....


my Dad on the other hand....will just be in shock at the thought of how we became pregnant, lol! He always says to me...."you're not going to have kids for 10 years or so right?"

My mom will probably get sappy and emotional....she will be happy tho

then my coworkers....they will all be elated! they always ask me about kids, and tell me i am next, lol

m mom was mentioning about pre-natals in front of my dad, and he said "Are you pregnant?" and i said "no dad, i'm not" and he just kind of said "Well--you got a husband...so it wouldn't be bad."

my brother dry heaves and looks disgusted at the idea of me being pregnant, since he has to come to terms with the idea of HOW i would get pregnant. hehe

friends and family would be happy i tihnk. i don't think anyone would question it and such, they know we are reaching that age and time

Since I don't really advertise that we want children and that we are TTC I am thinking the most common reaction would be to ask if we were trying

I think that both of our parents would be very excited and happy! I can't wait!

I think my family, friends, and coworkers will all be happy...

and if they aren't... I won't care because I'll just be too happy to hear it

All my friends are on baby watch..lol...DH and I aren't activly TTC yet (not that it would be bad if it happend) but I can't even order a glass of water with dinner w/out people thinking I'm pregnant! There is no way I could hold them off for 3 months with out them knowing!

Our parents would be absolutly extatic!

they would be cautiously optimistic with me next time around..
of course they would be super excited..but knowing how reserved i will be.. they dont want to get too crazy to soon!

My parents would be thrilled, my friends would be thrilled.

My ILs would find everything negative to say. I could care less. Their loss.

My friends will be happy.

My sisters and cousins(who are like more sisters) will be happy.

My MIL and DH's 2 sisters will be annoying and they will probably think it wasn't a good idea.

My parents will be indifferent. As will my aunts and uncles and my dad's parents.

My Grammy probably won't be happy.

FIL and StepMIL and DH's Step siblings(and spouses) and cousins(who are more like siblings since DH's dad raised them) will all be very excited.

we told my family saturday night about our BFP and my parents started crying which made my cry!!!! lol!

we're headed to DH's parents house now to tell them the good news. i hope theyre as happy about it as my parents were!

well they were all super excited......but next time around they'll probably notice I'm pregnant before we even tell anyone.......unfortunately I'll be feeling so cautious I don't think I'll be telling them until I'm actually showing next time!

My mother knows we're trying...MIL does not b/c she will call me every day from now until eternity to ask about dr. visits etc. Even DH agreed he didnt want to deal with her.

however, they will be over the moon im sure.
So will my friends and coworkers who know we are trying.

my coworkers want to see my boss' face...they somehow thing me getting pregnant will make him go bonkers..LOL
