What would it cost to side & put new windows into a home like this...
I know prices vary based on materials and such, but does anyone have a ballpark figure as to what it would cost to side and replace windows on a home approximately the size of attached picture (not the actual home, just a comparable size).

Re: What would it cost to side & put new windows into a home like this...
Having a reputable company do windows & siding...about 22,000.
I had windows and siding done, good company with middle of the road prices (and Alside materials) and windows cost me 10,000 and siding 16,000. But that home seems smaller than mine.
Keep in mind it's a rough estimate and would totally depend on so many variables.

I really had no idea so a rough estimate is what I was aiming for.

The first number that popped into my head was 20K on a house that size.
A few years back I sided, put on a new roof and did all new windows (32 in total) for 38K.

I got prices for siding for about 10K alone and for windows about another 10-20K depending on the company.

Re: What would it cost to side & put new windows into a home like this...
I have a 2000 sq ft ranch and last year was quoted 5,000 windows and 7500 sinind from a reputable contractor. He was the lowest qualified bidder using quality materials. We had low ball bids like 3,000 windows and 4,000 siding but it would have been replacement vinyl windows and crap siding. We also had bids up to 9,000 windows and 15,000 for siding. SO it depends on the company and the quality of the materials.

We had 19 windows put in by Window World for a little under $8000. We had an estimate to put cedar on our colonial for $13000 and contractor said vinyl would be a little more.
