What would you do? Go or stay home?
DD woke up at 5 am completely congested unable to breathe through her nose. I gave her saline drops and she sneezed out a bunch of gross stuff. She's still a little congested but not too bad. She ate totally fine this morning after that. She's just tired now from waking up so early.
We're supossed to go to Puerto Rico tomorrow morning but we don't know if we should go. We have a dr's appt today at 10:30 am and we'll see what teh dr says but what if there is nothing wrong besides congestion? What if it turns into an ear infection on vacation? Would you still go? DD is 5 months old.

Molly just went through this. She didn't seem to be uncomfortable, just incredibly stuffy and runny nose. Barring the doctor saying no, I would still go.

I would still go - are you taking her? if not just give specific instructions and a demo to whoever is watching her on the saline

Do you know how likely it is to develop an ear infection? I'll ask the dr this too but because I'm antsy and can't wait I'll ask you guys!
Yes, we're bringing her with us. Does heat make congestion worse?

So the dr said that her lungs are completely clear and her ears looked good too. So we're gonna go - it will just suck if the cold worsens since last time that happened, she didn't sleep for two days! But hopefully that won't happen!
