What would you do?- Hair related with pics

DS had a full head of hair when he was born, it has really rubbed off the sides and back, because of the way he lays. This has resulted in a mohawk. It gets very stringy on his forehead. Now it's even getting curly, so there's no way of combing it the right way. We want to get pro pics for when he turns 6 months.

SHould we get a trim of the top of his head, to match the rest of his head? Is he too young to get it done? Chat Icon

Here's some pics so you know! The cradle cap makes it so greasy in the front,e ven right after we wash it. This is what his hair does, combed or not.

I'd trim the front (or have a professional do it since I'm a spaz.)

He's so cute! I would trim it a little if it were me. I think you would feel better about it. It's not like you're chopping it off to match the rest, just "blending" it. Chat Icon

I had to do the same with Josh's at that age.

I put him in the tub, wet his hair, combed it forward and gave him bangs.

He's such a cutie!

DD was a little older (I think 8 months), but I had to do the same. I just gave her a little trim and evened everything up a bit.

I would let it be. I think its cute when the babies hair does its own thing. I say leave until hes one and then worry about doing things too.

Im going to say either is fine...you could maybe trim it a bit to even it all out..or just leave it. He is so cute that it's not going to matter...

I would trim it so the hair was even. It will all grow in together. The other hair just had a headstart.
