What would you do...drive or train?

I'm going out to the city tomorrow with Rylan...my sis and nephew. Everything we're going to be doing is in the Central Park area and we would be leaving from Ronkonkoma. We can't decide if we should drive or take the train. I'm a little worried about Rylan on the train. I would have him in the stroller but don't know how long I can get him to stay in there if it's not being wheeled around. What would you do?

If you are going during non-rush hour I would drive.

I always think about taking public transportation and then realize I would rather drive to have the convenience of getting closer to where you want to go and not having to lug stuff all over the place. JMHO!

PS - Have fun!

If you are leaving at 9am you will be in a lot of traffic. I would take the LIRR from Ronkonkoma to Penn, then hop on the 1 or A train to 59 St/Columbus Circle. It will leave you right at Central Park. Luckily, Ronkonkoma is a terminal station so there are so many trains to choose from! LIRR Schedule HTH! Chat Icon

Good luck! You'll do just fine, no worries. Just bring some toys to entertain him if he gets cranky. Have fun! Chat Icon Chat Icon
